Has anyone had this issue?
A user's last name got changed but the CMBOBJPROPS33 is not updated, it still has the previous last name. When I run an audit report for the user with the new last name, nothing shows up. It still pulls under the old name. We are on Cognos 10.2.0

I had one such issue, not exactly the same. But the user last name changed in LDAP and he was not able to login to cognos. I had to delete the ID and add him back. This solved the problem.
Yeah. Probably you will have to deleted the user profile and give him/her access again.
Thank you both. But if I delete the user profile, won't I lose the user's current "MyFolders" content? :(
Just take a back up of user's my folder before deleting the profile.
