Hi Friends,

I am receiving the following error after report had been migrated from Cognos 10 to Cognos 10.2.1

RQP-DEF-0177
An error occurred while performing operation 'sqlOpenResult' status='-28'.
Details CAF-WRN-2082 An error has occurred. Please contact your administrator. The complete error has been logged by CAF with SecureErrorID:2014-10-28-16:39:28.080-#31.

The report runs fine in Cognos 10 Environment, but when it runs in Cognos10.2.1 it give the above error.

Can anyone help fix this issue.

Are there any calculated data items in your report ?

Brad,

We had migrated one report from cognos 8.4 to cognos 10.2.1, the report used to work pefectly in cognos 8.4, but used to throw up an error in cognos 10.2.1.

Was struggling to find out whats wrong in the report when a friend of mine suggested to check the calculated data items, they need to follow a sequence.

i am still unsure about this technique, but when we tried that our reports started working fine.

So just request you to check the calculated data items if any.
