Title: Cognos BI: Client Side Requirements

Hi All,

Just a quick one.

Does anyone know whether IBM publish the minimum client side hardware/software requirements for Cognos BI?

So for users logging onto cognos via web browser to run reports etc or is it just the web browser that is required?

Just a browser - unless you are rolling out Cognos Insight. Modellers will need client tools like Framework Manager/Cube Designer, but anyone who just views/consumes/authors/administers just needs a supported browser.

Thanks kind Sir,

I thought as much I just didn't know if there were set minimum specs of the machine running the browser but to be fair if your machine can't run the latest browser it's time for a new one.
