Hello everybody,
I have a multi-page dashboard with global filter prompts and many tabs. My data is relational with data warehouse (db2).
I should add a field to indicate the date of the last loaded data from DW.
How can I do that?
10x :)
When the DW is reloaded, do you store that date on a table somewhere in the database? If not, I don't know how you would identify when it last happened...but there are vastly bigger brains than mine on here that might be able to give you an idea.

As Chris says, what mechanism is in place to record the load date? If you don't have one, are there any rules you could apply to figure it out (eg the latest date in a time dimension)?
If not, then I believe we need to try the NSA. Rumour has it they watch every data warehouse load and log it. If you can figure out how to hack into their database we could try to isolate the date in there ;)

Now that sounds like a lot more fun than boring old SQL, ETL, and Cognos. Where can I sign up? 8)
