Title: Anyone remember how to display REMOTE_USER
Post by: AussiePete2011 on 13 Nov 2014 10:34:53 PM
Hi All,

I've setup AD LDS and I can successfully logon but I want to expose the REMOTE_USER to see whether this env variable is actually being used as I'm having to actually enter the username in the logon for Cognos.

Cheers

Just found part of the puzzle but this is after the fact
Under D:\Apps\ibm\Cog1021_All\configuration folder there is a file called ipfaaaclientconfig.sample.
I've turned this on to see whether I can capture the details and as it stands REMOTE_USER is being passed through the AAAclient_<PID>.log

My problem now us that I can test the AD namespace and have setup IIS, Cognos and server for AD SSO but can't actually SSO.
I see the issue
Cognos "CAM.AAA.SRVC" Logon Account /directory/<namespace>/account/ not available.

Otherwise I've answered my own question.
