Hi, in my Cognos report there is a column call Item Code which contains numeric codes as well as normal string codes:
Item Code
12345 (stored as text)
GS001 (normal string)
When run as Excel report, the numeric codes are stored as text in the excel cell. Is it possible to setup Cognos report in a way that when run as Excel the numeric codes are stored as number (instead of text) in excel cell?
