Title: Audit Database..?
Post by: shri on 22 Jul 2007 08:35:17 PM
Hi guys,

I have cognos 8.2 setup in windows 2003 environment, I am using two logging methods 1) file and 2)database.  Created a database called Audit in MS SQL 2000 and ticked  Audit the native query for batch report service  and given full message level to
Audit logging level for monitor service . Rest of the log services are set to default (minimal). My question is when i look into the table called COGIPF_USERLOGON (table created by cognos into Audit database) is empty. I mean there is not records at all. But where as other tables contains some records abt reports, packages etc. My main aim was to track the users inforamtion (like when they logged in, what report they ran etc). I am not achieving that at this point...Please help is there antyhing i am missing in the configuration.

Thanks heaps

Found the solution, Just have to change the logging level to 3 instead of 1...cheers :)
