Title: What are the definition of the following terms regarding application support

I want to know the exact meaning of some technical words used by support guys:-
(a) Task
(b) Request
(c) Change Request
(d) Incident
(e) Problem

Please guys , i m supposed to know about these words are used in ticketing tool. For experienced resource its very simple
give the definition.

Hi Inam,

This is a Cognos forum - and we're here to answer Cognos-related questions. I'd suggest you do some research - maybe by starting with a few internet searches to find materials on these terms? You may be lucky and find someone on here who responds with answers to these non-Cognos questions, but that might also be true if you asked questions about cookery or car maintenance too...
