Hi Gurus,

Can anyone tell difference between Cognos Transformer and Metric studio. In what situations are used this concepts?

The difference between Cognos Transformer and Metric studio is like the difference between a fish and a bicycle (but not necessarily in that order).

Thanks for your quick reply. Transformer is like create multi-dimensional(cube) package tool and Metric studio is like reporting tool. Is it correct?

Transformer is a client tool for designing and creating Cognos PowerCubes. Metric Studio is a browser-based UI for viewing and exploring metrics. They are vastly different in almost every respect.
