Title: Cognos 10.2.1 web server configuration for centos
Post by: sdf on 18 Sep 2014 04:31:58 AM
Hi,

I have installed a new instance of cognos 10.2.1 in centos, used the content manager of another cognos 10.2.1 in windows. I am able to start the cognos service.

I have read in the other threads that there is an issue using cognos module in unix/linux systems.
As i have said, i installed into a centos environment (centos 6.5) with apache httpd 2.

Following the module configuration, i faced the same issue starting the httpd. I read in one thread that i followed to comment out the line in (../httpd/conf/cognos.conf)

"LoadModule cognos_module "/opt/ibm/cognos/c10_64/cgi-bin/mod2_2_cognos.so" cognos.conf file and stick with the cognos.cgi defaults instead.

I did so, but it still says there were internal error or misconfiguration.
But i did one test.
I used the internal dispatcher URI and was able to load the page, also was able to login though the page looks crappy.

Any idea??
