I have a Cognos customer environment that is deployed to Websphere and I've recently run a Fix Pack update. Would I need to re-generate and re-deploy the Cognos EAR file in order for the changes to take effect? When re-deploying, is it simply a case of stopping the WAS service, replacing the current EAR file with the new one and then starting the services back up again, or is it more involved?

Hi,
In case anyone else is in the same position, what I did was re-deploy the archive to Websphere and run an update so that the new archive replaced the existing one. I made sure to stop the Cognos service prior to running this operation.
