i have a requirement in report having 3 columns, for example:
1.date of purchase
2.Amount paid
3. Product_ids
User wants the report to display data like below:
Date of purchase | Product_IDs | Amount_paid
___________________________________________
July 2, 2014 231312424242 $40.00
____________________________________________
July 2, 2014 254112424242 $40.00
____________________________________________
Daily Total 2 $80
____________________________________________
July 19, 2014 231312424242 $40.00
____________________________________________
Daily Total 1 $40.00
____________________________________________
Monthly Total 3 $120
____________________________________________
Please advice how to achieve this
You can create a data item to get the month [extract(month, date_of_purchase)] and include this in your list. Just group by month and date columns and you should get the sub-totals at both levels .
