Has anyone successfully setup Cognos Auditing to an Oracle 11g XE database? I am on Cognos BI 10.2.1.1 and write my Content Store to an Oracle 11g XE db and thought that I could do the same with the Audit tables. Got the connection working on Cognos Configuration and Cognos Administration, but nothing is getting written to tables. Tables were created and getting connections test successfully but no data. Any help would be great.
Sounds like your Cognos logging levels aren't high enough in the portal. They have to be at "Basic" or higher.
OR
Check to make sure that you DO NOT have a an ipf trace enabled. Go to <Cognos>/configuration/ and check for a file named ipfclientconfig.xml. If the file is there rename it to ipfclientconfig.xml.disabled. Once renamed, just wait 30 secs and you should begin seeing entries in the Audit DB.
