Title: Excel output showing blank rows when there is no data
Post by: sameena on 30 Jul 2014 05:24:54 AM
Hi Gurus,
I have a report with 5 lists. When i run the report selecting my prompt parameters, my excel output shows blank rows if my list does'nt have any data. please let me know on how to avoid blank rows in my report.
I am working on Cognos 10. Is there anything I can do with the 'No data contents' tab.

Thanks,
Sam

To avoid blank rows, make sure they will always have data.  ;D

What do you want it to do? If you set the 'No Data Contents' propery to 'Content specified in the No data tab', and you have no data, whatever you have in the layout on the 'No data tab' is what will be rendered. Give it a try.
