Take a look at chapter 8 of the FM User Guide, specifically the section on multiuser modeling where segmenting and linking is described. It describes what it is, recommendations and limitations as well as step by step how to do it.

Yep - exactly as Lynn says.

The guide is here:

Hi All,

I went through the guide and tried implementing something in my project.. but in vain. Seems like the referential integrity is missing out when i import only the presentation layer from the segment and link it to the master project.

Can somebody let me know, when we create segments and links and if we are still expected to pull all the layers of the presentation then how is it different from managing different namespaces within the same project and branching and merging them when we have multi-users.

I feel like am missing out on some small point, but would be greatful if somebody can point me to that

Thanks
Suresh
