Is there a way to auto adjust the y-axis on a combination stacked bar chart with trend lines over it? Right now the combination chart always starts at 0, I need the y-axis to auto adjust based on the data coming through, so it provides a more zoomed in look to portray the trend line.
The chart is tied to a dynamic query and when a selection with high values is made it is hard to see the trend line when the y-axis starts at 0 (looks like a straight line across bars). When changing the chart to an Area chart the y-axis does auto adjust to the different values which makes the trend lines look better. Is there a way to do that with the combination stacked bar chart?
I have tried changing the minimum value on the y-axis which works but only for one graph, if another selection is made then it is not visible due to the high min value set on the chart.
This is on Cognos 10.1.1 FP2.
Thanks!
Attached is an image of the bar chart, I want that created with a y-axis that starts at 9,000 or whatever cognos picks for that particular selection, but let say I pick another option in the drop down, I want the y-axis to auto adjust to a lower number if all the bars are going to be over a certain number.
Attached is an Area chart that auto adjust the y-axis when a different selection is made from the drop down. I want this to happen with the bar chart image attached in my first post.
