Hello,
I migrated a report from cognos7 to version 10.2, but the report shows an error related to a filter:
[Billing Detail C / Unselect]. [Supply Situation]. [Code Delivery Status] <> 2
When I run the report the following error appears:
RSV-VAL-0010 Failed to load the report specification. XQE-PLN-0084 Unable to generate SQL because the filter condition
[Billing Detail C / Unselect]. [Supply Situation]. [STATUS Supply Code] <> 2 can not be applied to the following flow of events that does not contain projection facts: (Situation Supply).
When i disable the filter when the report runs normally.
The report is a simple crosstab, and the model is relational.
Can anyone help me please!!It´s urgent!!!
Make sure that [Billing Detail C / Unselect]. [Supply Situation]. [STATUS Supply Code] is as query item in your crosstab query. If not, drag it in from your Package. Then select the data item in the query and choose Run > View Tabular Data. This way you'll get a preview of the data. And you can see what the actual value of [Billing Detail C / Unselect]. [Supply Situation]. [STATUS Supply Code] will be. Perhaps you can see what causes the error.

Hello Nanno,
Thank you for responding, I will test now.
Thank you!
Hello,
I tried to put the [STATUS Supply Code] field in the query, let the filter disabled, the report runs correctly, but when I enable the filter the problem persists and the report does not run.
I made a new query with the same fields and filters and ran perfectly, the problem is I have 10 reports that are with the same error and do not have time to redo them, they were migrated from version 7 to version 10 and are with this problem.
Is it a problem of scope? Do I need to change some property of the query, or some property of aggregation of indicators?
If anyone has experienced this please help me! :'(
Thank you!
Hello,
I noticed that when I add the field Supply Situation in Crosstab, can validate the filter.
The problem is that this field may not appear in the report.
Has anyone experienced this?
Can you add the field to the appropriate node properties? Find the relevant node for the crosstab and click on the "Properties" property. All the fields in the query will show up and then you can click the box to turn the check box on for that field.
Hy Linn,
I did this and the report validated!
I am running the report, I hope it works!
Very thank you!
thanks very much Lynn, you saved me
