I wish to schedule a report for the 1st day working of each month in Cognos 10.
for example: 1st June is a Sunday, so the launch of the report Monday, June 2
Is this possible?

In the schedule settings, click on the By Month tab. In there, you have the option to select the first Monday of every month.
We encountered a similar issue as Cognos does not provide Workday Calendars.
We created our own workday calendar table including the workday, and the workday date ie WD1, 1-Jul-2014.
The Workday calendar is added to a package. The package is referenced in the event.
Now we can schedule reports using events where Current_date = Workday_ date and workday = 'WD1'.
