Title: Import New Query Subject In Database Layer too slow
Post by: fry on 02 Jul 2014 09:11:01 PM
HI

I have an existing FM model that has a project that federates SQL Server and DB2 objects to create working packages in production. They asked me to add a DB2 fact into the package. When I attempt to add a new Query Subject in DB2, the meta-data never comes back with the DB2 table list.....it simply clocks and says "Not Reponding". I know this model works and the connections are fine, as it is used in production and I can see the SQLServer tables easily, but not the significantly larger DB2 database tables ???

Thanks

I know that DB2 client needs to be installed on the local machine to be able to connect to DB2. Is the client installed and configured to connect to your environment which has the DB? You said that it works in Production but the connection to
Production can be different.
