Title: "Gateway unable to connect" error after migrating to new cluster
Post by: anvyas on 01 Jul 2014 03:49:04 PM
Hello All

Cognos started throwing error after we migrated our virtual servers to new cluster.

We are on Windows Server 2008 R2 distributed environment, WebServer (IIS), Application server and Content Store is on another server. When gateway tries to connect to Application server I get following error message:

"The IBM Cognos gateway is unable to connect to the IBM Cognos BI server. The server may be unavailable or the gateway may not be correctly configured.

Try again or contact your administrator."

Kindly let me know if any of you had the same situation and how you resolved.

Thanks in advance.

"PresentationService      Success   PRS-PRO-0511 A partial reinitialization of the XTS processor is required."

This issue got resolved, I had to recycle cryptographic keys and it worked fine. Here is the link for the procedure.
