Is it possible to reuse cognos 8 model in cognos 10 ? If so please can you tell me how to do that

Take a copy of the Cognos 8 FM model folder, then open it in Cognos 10 FM. It will upgrade.

When it upgrades, it might also set some FWM governor settings to legacy positions, which may impede performance. I forget the details but it's discussed in the FWM User Guide. These need to be reset to default settings once you are happy everything in the upgraded model and packages is working ok.
