I'm trying to test how security works in the new architecture under 10.2 to determine if we can put this version into the Production environment. Having some fairly serious difficulties.
Rights for Contributor won't save so I have no way to be sure that that process will generate an element security cube in 10.2 as it does in 10.1. We also do some models direct in Perspectives and use the element security cube to manage access there. If the architecture is very different then we'll have to re-architect before moving to Prod.
As it stands I can't prove that the element security cube even exists in 10.2, let alone test how it works. Anyone have insight to this?
