Are you aware of any way to capture a URL that will link directly to the saved versions for a particular report?
We are trying to find the easiest way to provide a hyperlink that executives who have no Cognos navigation skills can use to view a list or report versions. We know various techniques for archiving and building web pages, etc. but were hoping that we could simplify it if we could find a way to grab the id of the saved versions folder.
Any thoughts?
Just an idea,
we did once, using cognos mobile. For the purpose of just viewing the reports.
We created an executive user and folder in cognos containing some reports that the executives be interested in viewing.
Well, this is good if they are using mobile/tablets.
Because we haven't tried a hyperlink that will go directly to the report since you still need login credentials to view the reports.
