Cognos Mobile Active Reports Doesnt Load Automatically on certain iPad, I have 10 users using cognos and I have the problem with just one user,
If I restore the iPad and do a fresh installation, Cognos run Ok and load all the reports, then, when I restore the iPad BackUp(this is needed), the user enter to cognos mobile but cognos didnt load any reports,
If I debug my ipad I get this error:
DEBUG 21151 babel.model.impl.remote.RemoteRenderManager -[RemoteRenderManager shouldProcessRenders:] 395 Ignoring inbox update; it is not newer than our current version
It seems that iPad doesnt load any reports because It suppose it already have them,
Any ideas?
I tried everything:
Delete and Install cognos Again
Restore iPad and install Again
Delete Cognos, BackUp, Reset and Restore iPad BackUp
I have the same problem. Some devices shows the reports and some doesn't.
Does anyone have any ideas?
With the Help of IBM we found a way around this problem, the message indicating that there is no new reports it's because a bug in the cognos mobile app. You need to set your iPad or iPhone time settings to use a 24 hour format, the app doesn't work properly on 12 hour time format.
I hope this is useful for somebody.
