Hi,
I want to disable that users can create folders into the 'root' of IBM Cognos Connection.
All the departments have there own folder where the Professionals are allowed to create folders.
But the professionals aren't allowed to create folders into the Root of Cognos Connection.
What steps should I do to handle this?
Kind Regards,
BI4BUSINESS
Hi,
Remove "Write" privileges for the groups the users belong to in the Permissions tab of the properties page for the root of Public Folders (the properties button is up there on the right of the page - second one in from the right)
Cheers!
MF.
Hi MF,
Thanks for the fast reply.
Can you guide me to "Permissions tab of the properties page for the root of Public Folders" a little bit more?
Perhaps a screen dump so I can see were you are in the [Security] screens?
Kind Regards,

Hi,
I tried to point you in the right direction in my previous post. The properties button for Public Folders is at the top right of the page - the second button in from the right:

Then you select the Permissions tab:
