I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has had this experience.
After upgrading to BI 8.2 from BI 8.1 MR2, none of our reports that have a cube as their data source will open. Furthermore, I cannot create a new package with a cube even if I create a new IQD and new cube. We are using Active Directory as our authentication source and it has something to do with the issue, however, these reports work great in our 8.1 environment and always have.
What makes this a bit more confusing is that all reports that do not use a cube as their data source work fine.
When creating a new package, FM will allow me to create a new data source from the cube, but as soon as I choose the new data source and click the "next" button I receive the error message below.
Some of the other errors that I'm getting are:
QE-DEF-0314: An error occurred while calling the content store for Data source
CCL-RCI-0002 The Soap server returned a Soap fault
CM-REQ-4222 You do not have permissions to access to access this data source.

Has the cube been secured?
I guess I should have mentioned that I did not put any security on the cubes themselves.
Another thing I should have mentioned, our production environment, 8.1 MR2, is still running. We have decided do a new Cognos 8.2 install paralell and keep 8.1 up until we have all issues fixed with the 8.2 install.

What happens when you try to test the connection? Without opening a report.
Same directory or new one? NTFS permissions set appropriately?
(I'd ask about locks on cubes but if it doesn't work with a new one, your current 8.1 isn't locking them)
