What type of model did you build? DMR or relational?

if you have a time dimension in your cube or dmr you can use the relative time functions that are provided for dimensional reporting.

We actually have done these with relational modeling. With a well thought out and implemented time dimension you can do some very functional and powerful relative time calculations. Refer to the proven practices guide at support.cognos.com for some guidance on how to manipulate relative time in Framework manager.

Please tell me how to do YTD in FM level using relationsla model ....We have the same scenario now and we r stuggling in doing it .
