Title: PDF password not working

Hi Guys,


we have scheduled the report,set the ouput version to PDF and set a password as  for EX..abc123.
we got the output, but when we are prompted to enter password though we enter the same (abc123), it's say's incorrect password.

can any one help me in this

Hi,

I just tried it, and it works fine for me.

The password is case sensitive - make sure you are entering it in the correct case.

i gave the same, but wont help:-(

is there any way to trouble shoot

I'm not aware of any troubleshooting techniques for this. You could try using a different version of Acrobat Reader maybe? What build of Cognos 8 are you using? have you looked to see if there are any PMRs logged against your build for this - might be a bug fixed in a later release?
