I am having hard time writing a javascript to embed inside a HTML mainly for validating prompts in report studio. I know the logic but having hard time finding the right property or methods of a prompt defined within cognos. Does IBM list these anywhere, I couldnt find any documents out there?

This may help you. There are samples on validating the prompts.
