Do you only want to move the contributor application databases and leave the content and planning store databases on the current SQL server, or are you looking to move all databases for planning?

I want to move all the databases for planning and i want to delete the existing datastore created in CAC and add new datastore to import the existing applications

There are a couple of ways to accomplish this, but I'll outline the easiest:

You'll want to export the applications, macros, and admin links from the CAC (Tools > Deployment > Export model and data).  Once exported, you'll need to right click on each application and select Remove application.  Once removed, you will be able to right click on your datastore and select Remove Datastore.  Once removed, you can add your new SQL server as a new object under Datastores and then use the Deployment feature to Import the applications.

Hi,

When I login to Planning contributor web client  and click on a particular planning model through Internet Explorer 9(32 bit) and Mozilla firefox 4 I am getting the below error.
I am running CognosRCP.msi file but even after that I am getting the same error.
This is happening  when I access the planning application from other computers on the same network. But when I access the  planning model  directly on planning server  using internet explorer 9(32bit) then I am able to open the same without any error.

The error is "An unrecoverable error has occured and contributor must close. Please contact your administratorUnexpected.missing HRESULT Parameter"

Sounds like firewall or anti-virus is blocking traffic
