Hi
If i want to filter the data in dimensional report, then can we use detail filter for it. OR slicer member set only can be used for filtering the detail level data.
Whatever we are writing in the expression of detail filter in relational report. the same code can we write in slicer member set expression editor. OR any other function i need to use to resolve this problem.
Thanks
Inam

NO.
See here a good explanation of why: http://www.cognoise.com/index.php/topic,18290.msg53585.html#msg53585 (http://www.cognoise.com/index.php/topic,18290.msg53585.html#msg53585)
As for the rest of your questions, I suggest you familiarize yourself with dimensional functions.
You beat CognosPaul to it Nimrod! ;D
Paul sometimes contracts stuff off to me :)
Aha! A tag team! :)
With the time difference between them they can probably slap would be filter users of dimensional data 24/7
Actually, at any given point in time, Paul and I aren't likely to be more than half an hour away from each other by car.

Rumour has it that Paul's driver is so fast that he's never more than half an hour away from anyone on this forum by car ;)
Paul doesn't need drivers. He's Linux.
