I know the scope of standalone filter , but not embedded filter,. please elaborate it.

Hi,

An embedded filter is a filter defined on the filter tab of a query subject (ie it is embedded in the definition of the query subject). This means the filter applies whenever an item from the query subject is used - the author does not need to manually define or drag in the filter from the package tree.
