My manager wants to make the dashboard pretty(look wow) promptpage is just prompts not sure what more I can do... any suggestions? :-\
There are loads of things that you can do to make a dashboard look impressive, but it's a bit difficult to answer your question without knowing what you've already done...and what you want it to look like.
I'd suggest trying to get something together in Excel (for example) and trying to decide what you want from the dashboard. Once you've designed it you can then try to build it in Cognos...and it'll give us something a bit more concrete that we can help you with.
