Hi All,

We are going for a PoC (Cognos and Hadoop).
Is it posible to connect directly to the HDFS level with IBM Cognos?

Hi,

Cognos 10.2.1 has assorted connections to Big Data sources via JDBC, some of which are Hadoop-based.

Yes, I think I this is what we are looking for.
But how did you get the Hive as an option in the list?
And the IBM InfoSphere BigInsights ?

I don't have that kind of list in out evironment.
We are also running on Cognos 10.2.1.1

Good question! I have 10.2.1.1 with IF3 applied. Not sure if the IF makes a difference?
