Is it possible to run Cognos Planning on a newer version of SQL and if so which ones are compatible. I've tried searching elsewhere but can't find an answer.

Hey Stuart,

Theoretically yes, you should be able to, but I doubt the newest version of SQL would work out of the box with 8.4.x versions of planning...

The latest version of SQL supported for 8.4.0 was 2k5. 2k8 for 8.4.1.
