We are looking to hire a analyst in the Calabasas, CA area.
Job Summary
This position will interact directly with the Subject Matter Experts (SME's) from the functional departments on Business Intelligence and reporting. They will assist the SME's in managing their functions' existing Cognos reports and create a roadmap and guidelines for the next generation of reporting requirements. The analyst will work with SME's and the IT team to manage projects and initiatives needed to accomplish the roadmap objectives.
We are implementing a new Cognos infrastructure and this position will be leading the project to transition the users to the new platform. The analyst will help develop the processes, policies and procedures required to use the new platform effectively and efficiently. In addition, the analyst will work with each of the functional areas SME's to generate and execute training plans needed to increase that department's Cognos capabilities.
This position will work very closely with the other IT Business Analysts to understand the data structures of our various business system platforms. This information will be critical for the analyst to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure that the SME's are properly supported.
