Post by: xyz on 06 Feb 2014 01:38:57 AM
Hi Gurus,

I have a comibnation chart, which have two series one data item have values coming from database and one is a constant value. The user want the constant value series data item color to be green. Using the conditional palette, I tried giving the color, but it is not working. Cube is a data source.

The constant value is 95. It should show in green color, but it is not working.

Can you guys please help me on this.

Thanks & Regards,
xyz

Hi,

Can you explain? What does "I tried giving the color" mean? What did you do? I'd humbly suggest it's rather difficult for us to tell you what the problem is when you haven't explained how you tried to do this...

MF.

Just a suggestion, but if the value is constant couldn't you just put a baseline on your chart and colour that green?

Hi MF, BigChris

Thanks for suggestions, basically selecting the series data item, in the properties for coditional palette property I set the conditional color to green, it was not working. I found the solution.

Actually I pulled two data items into the same series was causing issue. If we select the combination graph as a whole, we will get the option in the General properties called as combination property, where Primary Axis will be selected by default, we need to click on that then one new window opens up, where we have a option to add as many series as you want. I have added a series and set the palette property according to the requirement.
