HI

Have a brand new Cognos 10.2 install on windows server using IIS. Able to login sucessfully.

When trying to access any package using Report Studio I receive 415

The web request failed.
415 - text/plain
URL: /ibmcognos10/cgi-bin/cognos.cgi

When we try using query studio, we are able to open the package, but receive Response code 403.....

URL that you are able to see in error is really like : /ibmcognos10/cgi-bin/cognos.cgi ?

Or is it something like you did not provide the full URL for privacy reason ?

Hi,

Did you follow the step-by-step instructions for configuring IIS in the Installation and Configuration Guide? Sounds to me like your web server isn't set up properly, although I'm guessing.

Failing that, have you checked that you didn't get any transfer errors when copying in the media during the install? Anything of interest in instlog?
