Is it possible to add non-numeric data to crosstab measures area in Cognos 10.1?

Hi Gopi,
Yes, you can.
Steps:
1)Drag respective query items into rows and columns area
2)drag required measure into the measure area
3)right click on measure area and select 'select fact cells' option
4)Now you will get 'text source variable' option in properties pane
5)go to view,drag strin variable,add values
6)right click at text source variable ellipsis button and select that string variable which you created earlier
7)Now go to condition explorer, click on some value, now go to properties pane and enter the value you wish at text in text source property.Do this for all the values in condition explorer
8)save and run the report

Thanks for your suggestion. But, i don't have any measure in my report.
Ex. The report should display comments from each customer for each product.
Row: Product
Column: Customer
Intersection (Measures) : Commets
