I went into the Cognos namespace and added a user to a Cognos Group and a Cognos Role.
Then I go look for the user in the NT security domain so I can assign them portals, etc.
But in the NT area, their user id is not highlighted.
Most of the other users are, but not this one.
Any ideas?
I had the user login.
Then I went back to the NT domain and modified the user to get the right portal.
Then when I refreshed the screen, the user showed up in blue like the other users.
Not sure what the magic incantation is...
Had the user ever logged in before? If not, they will not have had a user profile in the content store. You can create one for them as a System Administrator if you wish, but my guess is this was the difference here.
