Hi Cognos Gurus,
I will be using SunOne Directory (instead of LDAP servers) for Security purpose with Cognos 8 BI Server. How is the SunOne Directory configured with Cognos 8 server? how is it installed? kindly let me know. thanks.

SunONE is an LDAP server. Usually you can download it from Cognos in a "supporting software" download. Installation and Configuration is simple and well documented in Cognos PDFs.

Hi,

We are actually using Sun One Directory server for the authentication, now that server is not responding and we dont have any backup .LAE file for that, and when i tried to login with a anonymous I dont have permision to see Report Studio and Admin Tools like Directory, Content Administration, is there any other solution to take the back up of existing Packages and reports...?
