Cognos security operates on Single sign-on and the Active Directory group.
Whenever a particular user changes her network password (every 4 weeks) her Cognos account gets locked out. She cannot to login to Cognos, this is happening from October,2013. The temporary workaround is to restart Cognos server which will allow her to access Cognos but that isn't an ideal solution.
Does anybody have come across this issue? The error message as follows;

CAM-AAA-0172 The main identity returned by the provider is invalid. The number of results returned must be equal to one.

I think you will need to get your AD expert involved in resolving this - it sounds like a config issue to me.
