Hi,
Recently I had to restart my COGNOS 8 Service from within my COGNOS Configuration screen. Since then, my Metrics studio has not been working. Each time I get the error: DPR-ERR-2014: Unable to load balance the request because no nodes in the cluster are available, or no nodes are configured for the service:metricsManagerService.
When I looked in the Cognos Configuration>Cognos 8 Service screen, the Metric Manager Data Service had disappeared.
I have been in communication with the Cognos support and they are trying their best to resolve the problem.
I'm desperately seeking help at all available resources, as to how to restore the Metrics Manager service back.

Please help!!!

Di you deploy on WebSphere or WebLogic, or is it a standard install?

Its a standard Install, using Tomcat.

After you've installed, did you at least configure it once?
