Hi,

I have issue with Cognos External Data source to my report.

When I execute the report its asking me to locate the file everytime.I tried checking all the option.The external file(Excel) is saved in that server only.Can anyone assit.Thanks

In Report Studio, go to Tools > Manage External Data, pick your link and click the pencil icon. Have you checked the option "Allow the server to automatically load the file"? Is the file in a path that can always be resolved when you run the report?

Thanks for your reply...yes I have done that..but when I run the report its asking me to locate that file again....
