Any Internet Explorer 8 experts out there?

...when opening Active Reports (mhtml documents) from our shared drive, users are getting the incredibly annoying information bar (top of IE) showing up, then, they have to click, accept, etc ...before the report will render.

Does anyone know what the setting is to allow it to just open it?

Hi,

maybe try allowing active content? Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and then under Security.

Interestingly that worked on my personal machine...

...but, not on my corporate machine.

I'm guessing there is some type restriction placed on our corporate IE that we can't alter these settings.
