I have a couple of questions and hoping if anyone can help.
1) Report Studio report has summary information of Company's offshore branches - there are 5 (example: Branch A, B, C, D, E). User can select an offshore branch to drill through to a detailed report. Detailed report is an Active Report. Is it possible to pass Branch parameter from Report Studio to the Active Report so it will only show the selected branch information? If yes, could you please let me know how to do this?
2) The Detailed Active Report has a data drop-down list - 'Jan 2010', 'Feb 2010' ...'Dec 2010'. When the Active Report (mht) opens, the data drop-down list is empty but the information in the report is Jan 2010. The requirement is the Active Report should show the current Month information. Example: if current Month is May, data drop-down list should show May 2010 and the information is May 2010, if current Month is November, data drop-down list should show November 2010 and the information is November 2010. User can select from the data drop-down list after to select the Month to view. is this possible to dynamically calculate the data drop-down list default? If yes, could you please show me how to do this?
