Does anyone know if it's possible to pass a parameter from one portlet to another that will be used as a render variable?
I have a "ReportType" parameter based on a selection of 3 static choices in a value prompt on one portlet (my 'selections tab' with all the value prompts)
Then I have a multipage portlet and each of these has a header. I want to conditionally render what the header shows based on the ReportType parameter. I have added a string variable to render the blocks in the header, assigned values, and tied the variable to ParamDisplayValue('ReportType').
I know the channel is set up correctly because filters are being applied appropriately, but the block rendering doesn't seem to work.
