This is a wierd problem that just seems to randomly occurr in our environments. It's not new to 10, it used to happen in 8 as well.

Again, no changes have been made to any configuration, and the server is available, in fact, running scheduled jobs just fine.
But here's the kicker. Simply restarting IIS fixes the problem.
Anbody else experience this? Do you have any insight into what's going on?
Are you using the CGI of isapi gateway ?
Which version of IIS ? and have the IIS logs / System event logs been able to highlight any challenges ?
I'm with regor on this. Check the IIS http logs. If they don't show much you may have to enable more verbose logging to try and catch the issue.
