One of our users is receiving the following error message when trying to run reports:
Unable to authenticate a user. Please contact your security administrator.
The reports are accessed through the link directly to the report and parameters are passed from the portal to the report. No other users have reported any issues. I've tried a restart of the cognos server and also tried to renew credentials, ctrl+f5 reset the browser.
Anything else that can be tried? Is there any way to try to find out what's causing this to happen?
Have the user try on a different machine as well as ensuring they clear their browser cookies.
I've just had a response and it all seems to be working correctly now.
I'll remember the cookies if it comes up again.
