I'm a newbie to Cognos ReportNet. I created a list report to show employee weekly schedule then applied a group function against employee. My question is that how I can have alternative color on employees. I found some postings that told alternative row color is doable on list report. I tried but it's not working after group function is applied.
Could someone shed some light on it? Any suggestion is very appreciate.

I'd have to guess that you will have to base your "color calcullation" on the grouping field. If I'll find a bit of time and nobody else beats me to it, I'll post an example here based on GO.

Could you give me more details that how I can applied the color calculation on the grouping field. I had created a row counter column, then calculated the color based on even or odd number of the counter. But after I applied group function on employee, the row counter is out of sync with employee.
